Whilst Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine is a sexist old man who should probably be resigned to history, there is still something wonderful about seeing him with dyed black hair trying to act up as a rock star alongside The Honky Tonk Man. This was generally as palatable as Honky got too, and the two were a strangely entertaining low hanging tag team.

They faced off against Bret and Neidhart at WrestleMania V, with the Hart Foundation picking up the win following a failed megaphone attack by the former manager of the Foundation, 'The Mouth of the South' Jimmy Hart. WrestleMania V is a strange show, with a lot of big names involved and some intriguing matches on paper, but the event doesn't hold up well at all. Hogan and Savage did a great job in the main event, but everything else was just sort of fine.

Which is exactly what this match was. It was just sort of fine...

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
