Brock Lesnar's 10 Best Second-Run WWE Matches
1. Vs. Seth Rollins and John Cena (Royal Rumble 2015)
You've heard a lot of writers (including yours truly) gush about this match ad nauseam, but I really don't think it's been fully appreciated simply because of the event it's attached to. Brock Lesnar's Triple Threat with John Cena and Seth Rollins was immediately followed by the disaster that was the 2015 Royal Rumble match, which featured Mr. Popular Roman Reigns begin his never-ending journey to make people like him.
But screw that.
Forget that match.
Don't let the lasting image of Royal Rumble 2015 be The Rock awkwardly raising Roman's hand. Have it be Seth doing the Phoenix Splash, or Cena ramming Brock through the barricade, or Brock catching Seth mid-air for an F5, or Seth's absolutely gorgeous top rope elbow onto the announce table. Literally any moment from this match deserves to be better remembered than that one Rumble Match, because we should celebrate the things that make wrestling great, not the things that make us annoyed with the WWE product.
Brock Lesnar gets on many fans' nerves for his supposed laziness and complacency, but matches like these show that when he's on, he is on like the very best.
If this 'Mania is his last hurrah, this is how I'll choose to remember him.
