In 2003, The Big Show felt like one of the worst big money investments WWE had ever made. After a hot debut, he became a comedy figure, and had trouble beating anyone in the main-event scene. His perception as a star was becoming badly damaged. Until he met Brock Lesnar.

Show had better chemistry, and better matches with Brock than any other opponent in his career. At Judgment Day, they squared off in a stretcher match. It seemed like an impossible task to move Show across the finish line, as he looked to be about three times the size of the stretcher. Still, as soon as the bell rang, Brock went to work, blasting him with that stretcher numerous times.

He later choked him with cable, and nearly hung him with it when he pushed the stretcher with the cable still wrung around Show's neck. The ending was bit cute with a forklift being involved, but ah, what the hell, it was still kind of fun.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
