Brock Lesnar’s 33 WWE PPV Matches Ranked From Worst To Best
14. Vs. John Cena - Night Of Champions 2014
After the complete destruction job by Brock on Cena at SummerSlam the previous month, the worry here was that WWE would book Cena too strong in order to 'get his heat back'. Thankfully, that didn't happen, as Lesnar dominated Cena once more, beating him down with suplexes and vicious strikes. It wasn't as compelling as the SummerSlam offering, but it was still good (much better than people gave it credit for). The biggest problem was that WWE had, one again, booked themselves into a corner: they wanted to keep the title on Lesnar but didn't want Cena to suffer another high-profile loss. So they booked a DQ finish with Seth Rollins, who unsuccessfully attempted to cash-in on Brock.
