Card Subject To Change: Repackaging WWE Survivor Series 1990
5. The VIpers Versus The Visionaries
Jake 'The Snake' Roberts (captain), Tito Santana and The Rockers versus Rick 'The Model' Martel (captain), Mr. Perfect, The Genius and Bad News Brown (with Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan).
Rather than the dubious distinction of captaining the first team to be swept in Survivor Series history, Jake 'The Snake' takes a decidedly more competitive Vipers squad into battle against 'The Model'.
In this redraft, the one-eyed Jake sets his remaining sight on the the man who blinded him with Arrogance and his new team of 'Visionaries' who have made his life Hell. In place of the original team of The Warlord and Power and Glory, Martel enlists Mr. Perfect, occasional running mate The Genius, and Bad News Brown (Brown actually left WWF following SummerSlam 1990, but completes one more show here to close the book on the feud with Roberts). Always eager to tangle with former partner Martel, Tito Santana joins The Rockers and 'The Snake' in place of Jimmy Snuka, who is relocated to Team Hogan.
To no one's surprise, The Genius falls first to a Santana Flying Forearm. Bad News eliminates Jannetty with a Ghetto Blaster before Jake gets the drop on him with a DDT. 'The Model' outsmarts Santana again and after an entertaining exchange, a Perfect Plex dispatches Shawn Michaels.
After a DDT to Perfect, Martel tries to mace Roberts' OTHER eye, but misses his target. An incensed 'Snake' then pursues Martel backstage with Damien as the ref counts to ten.
