All Elite Wrestling centrepiece Chris Jericho has claimed he will never return to WWE, making the comment while hosting a live stream on his YouTube channel.

Speaking on potentially going back to the industry-leading promotion, 'Le Champion' said "it's not going to happen," adding that he "really enjoys being in AEW."

"I loved my time with WWE, I love Vince McMahon, I learned a lot, I had a lot of fun," said Jericho, "but listen, you can't stay in the same place forever. You become stagnant if you do and I think you need to push yourself to do something new. The fact that AEW was live without a net when I first showed up and all of us have done such a great job of promoting this brand and company."

Jericho was crowned the first AEW World Champion at All Out last August, defeating Hangman Page. He lost the belt to Jon Moxley at Revolution this past February but has retained his steady presence near the top of the card, most recently feuding with Orange Cassidy, whom he defeated on Fyter Fest's second night.

The 49-year-old hasn't wrestled for WWE since the Greatest Royal Rumble in April 2018.
