CM Punk: 10 Angles For An Epic WrestleMania 30 Return

9. Going Heel On Bryan

We are looking at the outside bet with this, a heel turn on new Champion Daniel Bryan. While it may seem unlikely, it is in some ways the kind of angle both WWE and Punk especially would relish. Think about it, Punk loves working as a heel, one of the very factors in his leaving was the lack of creative for his face run. Coming back right at the end of WrestleMania 30 as the new face of the Authority to screw Daniel Bryan would shock everyone. It's a buzz generator, it's the only screwy Bryan finish WWE could get away with based on the relief to see Punk back with the company. From there it sets up a spring series of matches between the two best workers in the company, with Punk back in the role he is at his absolute best in. What might really attract WWE and Punk to going down this route is it's the ironic twist upon the fans. After all the chants for Punk and belief in him as a rogue, he in fact comes back only to side with Triple H and make the audience look dumb. Certainly in the past, Punk has loved working the crowd in this way, he did it famously in ROH when he signed his WWE contract on the ROH belt. When it comes to CM Punk, expect the unexpected.
