CM Punk: 10 Angles For An Epic WrestleMania 30 Return

4. Turns Up And Wins The Battle Royal

One of the most conventional ways to book wrestling returns has been 'surprise' entrants in battle royal matches. This could certainly be the case with CM Punk at WrestleMania 30, the Andre the Giant Battle Royal seems a very accommodating environment for Punk to seamlessly fit right back in. It can be booked like this: all 29 wrestlers have filled the ring, ready to start the battle royal. There's some confusion though, the 30th man hasn't came out. The commentary team start selling this and the wrestlers in the ring start berating the fact they can't start without the 30th man. Then the music hits. Punk turns up on stage and the 29 men in the ring star selling huge shock. CM Punk is back! Entering the Battle Royal he can right the wrong of his last multi-person loss at Royal Rumble, he can come in and this time get the win he deserves by last eliminating a huge heel. As the new Andre the Giant trophy holder he is then perfectly set-up for a prominent spring run. He could event take a loss in the Battle Royal, it wouldn't hurt him, the real story is going to be his return.
