The CM Punk-Brock Lesnar match from SummerSlam in August of 2013 was a legitimate Match of the Year candidate. Paul Heyman's interference sealed the win for Lesnar. Punk never had the opportunity to gain a measure of revenge on Lesnar, though he did finally unleash on Heyman with a kendo stick in October at Hell in a Cell. With motivation to get his win back against Lesnar, and the Beast Incarnate as hot as ever thanks to his victory over Undertaker at WrestleMania 30, a feud between the two of them could easily be the biggest in WWE. Considering the fact that Punk did not believe a feud or match with Triple H was important enough, a renewed rivalry between he and the man that ended the historic Streak would certainly be enough to get him off his sofa and back into the game. Right? If the answer to that question is yes, the matches alone would be worth it. Punk and Lesnar showed great chemistry in their first encounter as the latter was the dominant force that pummeled his opposition while Punk was the scrappy underdog competitor who kept finding ways to get control of the match and nearly knocked off his monstrous opponent on more than one occasion. It is a formula that could still work in rematches because of the quality of storytellers both men are.
