CM Punk: 10 Reasons He Will Be Back In WWE Before Long

8. Everyone Goes Back Eventually

This is the pro wrestling business. No matter how much bad blood there is between WWE and a superstar, it always gets worked out. When you put it into context, Punk's fallout wasn't even that bad. He wasn't 'screwed' like Bret Hart was in 1997, and he didn't have a legal dispute like Ultimate Warrior did in 1996, 1998 and 2006. Considering Hart and Warrior went back to WWE, there's certainly scope for CM Punk doing so. All he did was quit his job, WWE aren't going to be that bitter about it. From his point of view there's also little reason to be bitter. WWE never smeared his name and the company in fact heralded his career with the 'Best In The World' documentary on WWE Network the day his contract expired. Given that neither side have too much emotional bitterness, this relationship will be ripe for the resolving in a year or two. The historical trend in wrestling is that everyone goes back eventually, CM Punk is no different to anyone else.
