Lee asked and was given the time off by the company, as she reportedly got engaged to CM Punk. This break for AJ Lee came at a good time, as it was reported that she asked for it in order to get settled in with her new fiance. Lee also spent the last year as the champion, and carried the Divas Division without any significant time off. AJ Lee is rumored to be returning from her extended leave as soon as the Payback pay-per-view, to start up her feud with Paige. Between TV tapings and live events, AJ Lee will be back on the road 300 plus days a year, which may not bode well for her relationship with CM Punk. If Punk returns, theyll be able to travel and spend more time together.
