3. He's Had His Time Away, Healed Up & Is Ready For A Final Run
Back in January, the rumours as to why CM Punk left the WWE ranged from being burnt out and injured to being frustrated with his creative plans moving towards WrestleMania 30. Punk has made it clear his desire to main event a WrestleMania, as that is the one thing he has yet to do in his career. The rumoured main event for WrestleMania 30 back around November of 2013, was CM Punk versus Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. Those plans were changed when Batista made his return to the company, and was thrust into victory at the Royal Rumble. Now that he has been gone for close to six months, Punk has had the time to heal up. His only television appearance in that time was for The Walking Dead after show on the AMC network, where he looked healthy and refreshed. He's had time to cool off and think about his wrestling career and his future. For someone as passionate about the wrestling business as Punk is, he still wants to main event WrestleMania. His return at Payback would be the hot summer angle that could lead him back for one final 'Mania moment.
