4. Money In The Bank Ladder Match - WrestleMania 23 (2007)
2007 saw CM Punk's first appearance at WrestleMania, and it was one hell of a show.
Still dubbed arbitrarily as 'ECW's CM Punk', he was out to make not just an impression on behalf of the troubled ECW brand, but also a name for himself. It's no surprise then that he came into his first ever Money In The Bank ladder contest guns blazing.
It started with him taking a seemingly real and brutally-thrown stepper to the head, at the hands of Edge. It then progressed with him wearing a ladder round his neck, which was used to take out multiple opponents, and it concluded with him receiving an RKO off a ladder. His head was bleeding throughout. The Straight Edge Superstar took some amazing bumps and showed off some incredible athleticism.
This new guy proved himself more than capable of competing with the big boys. Punk went on to perform in two more MITB matches at WrestleMania, and scored victories in both. Yet, neither quite possessed the all-out fearlessness contained in this one. As WrestleMania debuts go, CM Punk's was as slick as they come.
