CM Punk has stepped back into the ring...alongside Stephen Amell for his new Starz television show "Heels". PWInsider has reported that the former WWE Champion started filming in Atlanta having previously quarantined in preparation.
There was a certain charm to the story breaking on Royal Rumble day - fans haven't forgotten the circumstances that saw Punk leave WWE 24 hours removed from an iron man performance in the titular clash. His elimination by Kane and prospective WrestleMania programme with Triple H was the straw that broke the camel's back, infamously parting the two sides.
He's yet to return, until now.

The 'Arrow' star shared an image of himself and Punk in the squared circle as a way to welcome the 'Voice Of The Voiceless' to the set, joking that he'd managed to settle his ring rust. The former 'Arrow' star has worked matches in the past, having partnered Neville at SummerSlam 2015 against King Barrett and Stardust. Having entered the Being The Elite universe in 2018, he competed against Christopher Daniels at the group's celebrated ALL IN show.
