Cody Rhodes Issues Open Challenge To Brock Lesnar On WWE Raw

The American Nightmare makes it very clear where the Beast can find him.

Despite nursing a (storyline) broken arm, Cody Rhodes issued an open challenge to Brock Lesnar Monday night, offering to face the Beast anytime he's in a WWE ring at a show.

The challenge came as Rhodes addressed his loss to Lesnar at Night of Champions on Saturday, where he passed out in a Kimura, refusing to submit. Cody said that his refusal to tap out should frustrate Brock and leave him dissatisfied, then offered to post his schedule of events online for Lesnar so he could pick out a show and meet the American Nightmare there.

Nevermind that Cody still has a broken arm that very likely cost him the match on Saturday. Rhodes further speculated that Brock is "afraid" of him if he refuses his challenge.

All signs point to this rivalry, now knotted at 1-1, heading to a third (and hopefully decisive) match, possibly as soon as Money in the Bank, or at SummerSlam.

Either way, the feud continuing means that we very likely won't see Rhodes entering Money in the Bank to win the briefcase so he can "call his shot" and challenge Roman Reigns for the "Undisputed" WWE Universal Championship and "finish the story."
