Commentator Done With AEW Collision
This commentator's time on AEW Collision has come to an end. At least for now.
It appears that Ian Riccaboni's time calling the action on AEW Collision has come to an end. At least for now.
Taking to X, Riccaboni noted how his time on Collision has been "unreal", while adding how you can still see him each and every week on Ring of Honor TV.
#AEWCollision has been unreal but I must return to my home planet.
Thank you for the love and support @AEW fans!See you every week on @ringofhonor, Thursdays at 7 PM ET on https://t.co/FH663chZE6! Happy Wrestling, Everybody! pic.twitter.com/dbIiF68cCz

Ian Riccaboni's stay on AEW Collision was always intended to be a temporary one, with the 36-year-old filling in alongside Nigel McGuinness while Kevin Kelly has been in Japan to cover this year's NJPW G1 Climax.
Where the G1 is concerned, the final of that tournament will take place later today, with Kazuchika Okada taking on Tetsuya Naito to decide this year's G1 Climax winner. As such, Kevin Kelly will shortly be returning to the US to resume his duties on Collision alongside McGuinness and Jim Ross.
Having been absent from Collision since the show's premiere episode, JR returned to the call on last week's show, where he joined McGuinness and Riccaboni for the main event of CM Punk vs. Ricky Starks. Likewise, Ross again called the main event on last night's Collision, where CMFTR challenged House of Black for the AEW Trios Titles.
While Ian Riccaboni will certainly be missed on Collision, the pairing of Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness is one of the very best in the business. Similarly, Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman - who are the announce team for ROH shows - are another fantastic partnership.
