Crossface: 13 Actors Who Must Be Cast In Chris Benoit's Biopic

1. Adrianne Palicki As Nancy Benoit

Alongside Schreiber's potential billing as Chris Benoit, the most important part of casting is choosing the right Nancy. At first glance, Adrianne Palicki's CV wouldn't suggest her to be an immediate first choice - particularly as her Rotten Tomatoes scored have been dire, aside from John Wick and Agents Of SHIELD - but she's a great dark horse.

Since taking on the role of Mockingbird in Agents Of SHIELD, she's grown in profile (having also been very watchable in Friday Night Lights), and crucially she wouldn't bring a lot of expectation (or baggage) to the performance, which will be key for the portrayal of Nancy. And if she does it right, it could well be a star-making role, as she will get some seriously weighty material to play with in the Benoits' volatile relationship.

It's likely that the Benoits' son, Daniel, will be played by a newcomer, which is probably the right choice, given his name. And no matter who plays the part, it's not going to be an easy performance to shake.
