Less than a week removed from capturing his first main roster title, news has surfaced that LA Knight has reportedly inked a deal to remain with WWE well past his previous contract's expiry.

Fightful Select reports that during this summer, Knight restructure and extended his WWE contract "for a large money increase and will be remaining with the company for a number of years." His deal originally was slated to run into the early part of 2025. According to Fightful, Knight reportedly was close to signing a new five-year deal last fall, but the two sides were far apart on money.

Under the restructured deal, Fightful has been told that "significant time" has been added to the contract and Knight "got what was considered a much-deserved pay increase."

The Megastar captured the United States Championship at SummerSlam last weekend, defeating Logan Paul and capping an improbable rise in popularity.

First signed to WWE in early 2021, Knight competed in NXT for a year before joining the main roster in 2022. However, he was repackaged as Max Dupri, a talent agent and manager of the Maximum Male Models, ma.çé and mån.sôör. The brainchild of VInce McMahon, the new character thankfully didn't last long after the former chairman was ousted.

Rechristened LA Knight, the Megastar took a while to connect, first feuding with Bray Wyatt before turning face in summer 2023. He earned an Undisputed Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel and defeated AJ Styles at WrestleMania 40 before winning the US title at SummerSlam.
