Daniel Bryan: Every WWE WrestleMania Match Ranked Worst To Best
4. Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon VS Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn - WrestleMania 34 (2018)
2018 marked Daniel Bryan's big comeback. It was a huge deal, because in the years leading up to it, the general consensus was that he'd never wrestle again.
Whilst a tag match alongside Shane McMahon didn't seem good on paper, it all panned out extremely well. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens excelled in their role as tag heels, with Zayn making a visible point of ridiculing Shane O'Mac's punching technique during the match. Somebody had to.
Zayn and KO mugged Shane and Bryan early on, and the initial sneak attack left Bryan incapacitated for half the contest. It seemed disappointing at first but, in this case, good storytelling was indeed playing out.
When Daniel Bryan did jump into action, performing when many said it was no longer possible for him to do so, he utilised every one of his tricks, and the crowd whooped for glory in accordance. Turns out that this seemingly weird set up was the perfect way to remind audiences why Bryan was one of the best. Three years on and he's still consistently brilliant.
