Daniel Bryan: Every WWE WrestleMania Match Ranked Worst To Best
3. Daniel Bryan VS Triple H - WrestleMania 30 (2014)
'30' is a nice round number, and so 2014's WrestleMania at the 'Silverdome' (sorry brother... 'Superdome') had to be something pretty special. Cue the straight story of good versus bad, with Daniel Bryan at the epicentre.
It's funny how the landscape of this night may have been completely different if CM Punk had stuck around, as he was originally billed to face Triple H, and that would most likely have knocked Bryan out of the title picture altogether. The adjustment made in Punk's absence led to a marvellous night, as nobody can deny.
Just like Stone Cold Steve Austin sticking it to the man 15 years prior, Daniel Bryan stood as an unrelenting figure of defiance against authority. Triple H fit nice and snug into his old-school role of number one heel, as Bryan did the supreme underdog.
The Game's batsh*t crazy entrance aside, it was an awesome match, smartly positioned at the start of the show, and drawing from some wonderfully simple and classic WWE wrestling tropes. Everything about it was immersive and correct.
