Daniel Bryan: Every WWE WrestleMania Match Ranked Worst To Best
1. Daniel Bryan VS Batista VS Randy Orton - WrestleMania 30 (2014)
When Randy Orton and Batista entered the arena at WrestleMania 30, the Superdome crowd seemed a little dejected. They'd just watched the Undertaker lose The Streak. A few of them probably missed CM Punk. It had been a long night. Put it down to emotional exhaustion.
But it wouldn't last. This was Daniel Bryan's moment, and he was taking the gold no matter what. The ultimate good guy had taken a hammering from the first match of the night, and now he had to take on two freshly-charged opponents, and more interference from The Authority. He was all but stretchered off prematurely. The narrative was milked for all it was worth...
... and yet it only served to sweeten the eventual victory. When Daniel Bryan clamped the Yes-Lock around Batista, and The Animal tapped, the audience went nuts. Not only had WWE created a main event spectacle worthy of their 30th Show of Shows, but also demonstrated that they were indeed capable of listening to the fans, and responding in kind.
This was Daniel Bryan’s proudest wrestling achievement, well earned, and a real love letter to the WWE universe.
Bring on the blizzard of confetti!
