Finally, do you have a timetable for how much longer you want to wrestle? Do you see this as your last hurrah so to speak or are you simply going to wrestle for as long as you physically can?

Richards: When I'm not the best anymore, when I feel I'm no longer the best, when I feel I no longer have the match quality I expect of myself, then it's time to walk away. As far as accomplishments in wrestling, I'm pretty excited. I accomplished everything I set out to do when I was a young man living on the farm. I'm not that old, you know, but I've been wrestling a long time and I accomplished a lot in a short period of time.

I feel great. I'm way healthier than I was, even when I won the Ring of Honor world title. I think I'm better than I was then. I've fallen back in love with wrestling and that's really all that matters at this point to me. I just want to be able to express myself in that. The biggest thing now is that I'm able to give back to wrestling that's given me so much. As long as I'm able to still do those things, I'll be around.

Catch Davey Richards in action at MLW Fightland on Saturday, October 2 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
