Dean Ambrose's Top 10 WWE Moments

9. Returning At Night Of Champions 2014

Seth Rollins had originally been scheduled to face Roman Reigns at Night of Champions 2014, but the match was called-off when Reigns was rushed to hospital with an incarcerated hernia the day before.

Delighted that he seemingly had the night off, the cocksure Rollins headed to the ring to claim a forfeit victory against his former Shield brother, but this is professional wrestling, and things are never that straightforward.

Several weeks after Rollins and Kane had sent him to the hospital thanks to a Curb Stomp through multiple cinder blocks, Ambrose returned for a measure of revenge, engaging Mr. Money in the Bank in a wild brawl and sending him scurrying. This was one of the major moments that defined Ambrose as a loose cannon and a genuine threat early-on; it felt uncontrolled, unhinged, and dangerous - feelings that WWE have struggled to recapture ever since.
