Dusty Rhodes Tribute: 10 Awesome Moments To Remember

3. Hall Of Fame Induction

While inclusion in the WWE Hall of Fame has proven to be arbitrary, it's still a coveted honor by many of the industry's stars and it gives them a chance to break character and thank those who helped make their legendary careers possible. We've seen some great speeches over the years - Alundra Blayze tore the house down just this year with one of the best ever - and we'd expect no less than The American Dream to once again move us with his words. Seeing Dusty inducted in 2007 by his sons Cody and Dustin - the latter of which he spent many years estranged from - was an awesome moment. For the millions of Rhodes fans out there, it was great to see a performer who meant so much to the business get the accolades and appreciation he deserved. Dusty thanked the workers and the fans who made his career possible and went out on as high a note as possible. He gave us an updated version of "Hard Times" before ending with an interpretation of his classic line of €œI have wined and dined with kings and queens and I€™ve slept in alleys and dined on pork and beans.€ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-ELlm_-PBk
