4. The Four Horsemen Break Dusty's Arm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_KCuwQrsmw The battles between The Four Horsemen and Dusty Rhodes are the stuff of legend, with various people assuming the role of The Dream's allies along the way. The feud was hot and heavy and lasted for years, with Dusty having lengthy wars with each individual member at some point, particularly Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson. Perhaps the one moment that lingers with fans the most is the time that the Four Horsemen ambushed Dusty in a parking lot and broke his arm. The spot was revolutionary for the time and a precursor to the backstage segments we're overloaded with today, but in 1986 it was practically unheard of. A video shows The Horsemen following Dusty as he drives down the road, with JJ Dillon narrating to a handheld video camera. When he pulls into a parking lot and exits his vehicle they jump him with weapons, restraining his arm against a truck and breaking it (conveniently censored for TV broadcasts). For fans who only know of life in the post-kayfabe world it's hard to convey just what a huge moment this was, as there were literally fans crying while the video was being aired. A lot of The Horsemen's immense success can be partially attributed to how far The Dream went to get them heat, and this is another prime example of how he stayed on the cutting edge.
