Having been out of action for 16 months, Eddie Kingston's AEW return has now been made official.

For those who watched last week's AEW Collision, there we had Big Bill cutting a backstage promo about being a tough guy because he's from New York, but made mention of another New Yorker who claims to be tough but isn't, who he hasn't heard from in a while, who he hasn't seen in a while. Then, Bill formally called out Eddie Kingston.

On last night's edition of Collision, it was confirmed that the Mad King has accepted Big Bill's challenge, with the Red Wood making the bout official for AEW All Out next weekend.

This will mark Eddie's first match since May 2024, when he faced Gabe Kidd at NJPW Resurgence. Unfortunately for Kingston, he suffered a broken leg and a torn ACL and meniscus during that contest, forcing him to undergo surgery that July. It's been a long road to recovery for the veteran, but we now have the great news that the former Triple Crown Champion is only a matter of days away from lacing up his boots again.

Taking place on the same Saturday, 20 September date as WWE Wrestlepalooza, the announced All Out line-up currently looks like:
