3. The Ultimate Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior's singular WWF Championship reign got off to the dream start when he toppled Hulk Hogan during the main event of WrestleMania VI. Emerging victorious from "The Ultimate Challenge" shot Warrior into the stratosphere and placed his hands firmly on the torch as the company's no. 1 star.

Sadly, it didn't quite pan out that way, but the 293 days Warrior spent with the championship were jam-packed with memorable moments. He reignited his feud with Rick Rude, survived Demoltion and Mr. Perfect at Survivor Series, and feuded with "The Macho King" Randy Savage in a rivalry that would ultimately lead to him losing the championship to Sgt. Slaughter.

He was already a superstar, but Warrior winning the top title helped cement his legacy and made the title feel even more prestigious in the process. He may never have become the next Hulk Hogan, but no one will ever forget the night he beat him for the championship and, for many people, The Warrior is "their" champion way more so than Hogan.
