Every 1-Time WWE Champion Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Eddie Guerrero

If Warrior defeating Hulk Hogan was the dream start to a title reign, then Eddie Guerrero upsetting Brock Lesnar at No Way Out 2004 was a heavenly wrestling vision.

One of the company's most beloved underdogs, Guerrero went into his match with WWE Champion Lesnar with the crowd behind him but very little chance of actually defeating The Beast. However, through a little lying, cheating, and stealing (and a lot of Goldberg), Latino Heat did the unthinkable and captured the championship to a huge ovation.

This was a man who had been repeatedly held down in WCW, who had fought major addiction issues, who had been fired from the WWF just a few years earlier. Now, he was their top champion and he thoroughly deserved it.

Eddie's dream reign continued with a WrestleMania classic against Kurt Angle. He would then feud with various wrestlers until JBL ended his run at 133 days.

This entry is tinged with sadness as, had he lived a full life, Eddie may have won many more world titles. Despite no longer being with us, Eddie's spirit lives on the remarkable memories he left behind and in this truly excellent reign with the WWE Championship.
