In a roster full of factions, the Gunn Club has the novelty of being bonded by blood. Billy was a popular Attitude Era midcarder, embodying both what was great and not so great about the last boom period in professional wrestling. It would be easy for him to overshadow his sons and become the main attraction of the Gunn Club. Thankfully this isn't the case.

Austin, who debuted alongside his father, had a setback when he was injured during his first match, later revealed to be a torn PCL. By the time he returned, his brother Colten had joined AEW.

The trio have natural chemistry which flows through them when they compete in the ring, and fortunately charisma hasn't skipped a generation. Billy has struck a balance between supporting his sons in the early days of their career without making them accessories to his legend. Though it is still early days for Austin and Colten the two have the makings of a solid tag team and the more we get to see of Billy on AEW programming the better.
