Every AEW Tag Team Ranked From Worst To Best

16. The Initiative

Pairing up the two wrestlers with AEW's worst win/loss records has proved a wise move on Dark, where Peter Avalon and Brandon Cutler produce fun weekly bouts with some of the division's biggest and brightest.

The Initiative's seemingly incurable losing habit makes it impossible to push beyond this list's lower reaches. These guys are glorified jobbers, and that's fine: every promotion needs a couple of acts whose primary purpose is to help others shine.

15. The Hybrid 2

The global health crisis robbed AEW of Jack Evans and Angelico's services for several months prior to their return on the latest episode of Dark, where The Hybrid 2 set up a future tag bout with The Natural Nightmares. It's good to have them back. Evans, in particular, is a wonderfully obnoxious personality with plenty left in the tank despite 20 years in the business, and his South African partner is no slouch either.

TH2 weren't signed to be pushed to the top, but defeat those lower on the totem pole and fall to the bigger names. Again, it's a good role for them. A one-off Tag Team Title match wouldn't go amiss at some point, provided Angelico and Evans can climb the rankings.
