Every AEW Tag Team Ranked From Worst To Best

6. Le Sex Gods

Chris Jericho Sammy Guevara
AEW

The strength of Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara's double-act transcends their relatively limited ringtime in standard two-on-two matches.

Le Sex Gods is one of the most compelling two-person relationships in AEW, going beyond the basic mentor/student deal. There's a lot of classic Jericho in Guevara, though 'The Spanish God' retains a voice of his own as he sits under the Inner Circle's learning tree, deeply embedded in a process that should prove invaluable in making him a star.

Both guys are colossal d*ckheads but you get the impression they genuinely care for each other. Where the rest of the Inner Circle come off as guys to take Jericho's beatings for him, there's more between him and Sammy, who are comfortably the stable's two brightest individual sparks.

5. Santana and Ortiz

Santana Ortiz
AEW

That Santana and Ortiz haven't had a run at the AEW Tag Team Championships yet shows the division's depth. These guys are one of the best tandems in the world, with a track record that proves it, yet their roles are peripheral, serving as Chris Jericho's henchmen with middling win/loss records.

There's no great shame in this, though it'd be nice to see the former Proud and Powerful showcased before long. Their time will surely come soon.

Jericho's feud with Jon Moxley helped establish Santana and Ortiz's distinct personalities, giving them beefy character bases to build on once AEW shoots them to the moon. This, paired with their wild wrestling style, makes them infinitely pushable.
