9. Jay White

Though he as only been part of Bullet Club for three months, Jay White has already made an indelible impact on a stable that looked certain to fall under Tama Tonga's rule before 8 October.

That was the night 'Switchblade' joined BC with the swerving Jado and Gedo. They downed Kazuchika Okada at King of Pro-Wrestling, and Bullet Club has since returned to a strong level of credibility following the Firing Squad's abysmal G1 Climax run. Whether they're capable of peaking again remains to be seen, but if they do, it'll probably be down to White's leadership, and their fortunes should rise in-line with the 26-year-old's own climb through New Japan's heavyweight ranks.

White defeated Okada in a potential star-making bout at Wrestle Kingdom 13, downing the revitalised 'Rainmaker' with his Blade Runner finisher in one of the night's most shocking moments. Now, he'll challenge IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi on the upcoming New Beginning tour. Victory is a longshot, and White will likely have to wait another couple of years to taste the big gold belt, but he's lightyears beyond his post-excursion days, and Bullet Club are fortunate to have him.
