There are currently 22 active titles in WWE.

Admittedly, 2 of those look to be show-specific and are hardly an ongoing concern to the weekly product. In fact, the creative team has put them to one side until certain jaunts to Saudi Arabia/Australia/anywhere else internationally come around again. Then, you can expect to hear all about how "important" they are etc etc. Regardless of that 'pick 'em up then put 'em down' approach, both are here for the sake of completion.

Winning any championship under WWE's watch is nothing to sniff at. It's a sure sign that Triple H is encouraged by a wrestler's in-ring work, character progression and/or promo skills. 'The Game' doesn't just stick the belts on anyone. Obviously, that's truer for the top titles than it is for say...some of the lesser belts. They're nowhere near as crucial as some other prizes the men and women on Raw, SmackDown and NXT strive to hold, and some could be considered largely worthless by most fans.

Some straps have taken a while to get going too. Titles like the Women's Intercontinental and United States Championships are still relatively new compared to others, and the Women's Tag-Team straps have always been a headache for the writers penning episodes of TV. Thankfully, WWE managed to find a solution there by finally putting the titles on women who connect with the audience and having backup stories just waiting to be triggered.

Here's every single reigning champion across all 3 major brands and beyond. This will be updated as and when title changes occur, so consider it a handy current guide on who's holding which title in WWE.

Undisputed WWE Champion: Sami Zayn

Since: 11 September, 2026.

Defeated: CM Punk.

Show: SmackDown.

It looked like that was a wrap on Sami Zayn's WWE Title aspirations when CM Punk dethroned him on the 6 July edition of Raw, but...he's back! Zayn remained involved in the top title mix, and he shockingly won the strap back from Punk on an action-packed 11 September edition of SmackDown.

Maybe, just maybe, this run will last slightly longer than the last one. Few could begrudge Sami a second stab at the richest prize in the industry. He's been on a tear as a TV character, and he always delivers inside the ring.

World Heavyweight Champion: Roman Reigns

Since: 19 April, 2026.

Defeated: CM Punk.

Show: WrestleMania 42.

Hopes are high that Roman Reigns will work a more regular schedule now he's World Heavyweight Champ. The 'OTC' vanquished CM Punk in a fantastically-told story-based bout at 'Mania 42 in mid-April, and now he's well-placed to run the gauntlet of challengers on Raw.

Recently, Roman rekindled his Bloodline faction with The Usos. He conquered his feud vs. Jacob Fatu, but there are reports of coming clashes with The Vision's Bronson Reed once he returns from injury too. Both rivals are welcome and well-matched to Reigns.

WWE Women's Champion: Chelsea Green

Since: 2 August, 2026.

Defeated: Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Lash Legend, Tiffany Stratton.

Show: SummerSlam.

Initially, WWE told the world that Chelsea Green was merely an interim choice to tide everyone over until Rhea Ripley could return from an injury layoff. Commentators have downplayed that since SummerSlam, so much so that Chelsea is just referred to as the reigning champ - there's next to no mention of 'Mami', at least for now.

Green is a popular titleholder regardless, and few deserve this kind of opportunity more than she does. Even an orbital bone break couldn't stop her from pressing forwards as champ.

Women's World Champion: Liv Morgan

Since: 18 April, 2026.

Defeated: Stephanie Vaquer.

Show: WrestleMania 42.

Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan was hurting going into her clash with Stephanie Vaquer at 'Mania 42. In fact, both women were, and concerns about niggling injuries were used to justify the brevity of their Women's World Title match. In the end, it was Liv who came out on the winning side.

Vaquer was hastily written off TV so she could heal up a nasty AC shoulder sprain, but has since returned. Meanwhile, Morgan has been working with the likes of Sol Ruca and surely has matches vs. Judgment Day stablemates like Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in the pipeline eventually.

WWE Tag-Team Champions: MFTs

Since: 14 August, 2026.

Defeated: Damian Priest & R-Truth.

Show: SmackDown.

The Damian Priest and R-Truth 'odd couple' reign ended in mid-August, then Priest later turned heel on his partner during the 11 September episode of SmackDown. They were supplanted in the championship chairs by Tama and Talla Tonga, who now have Haku along for the ride with them as some sort of wise elder/guiding hand.

MFTs have come a long, long way since being little more than pawns for Solo Sikoa, but they'd have to go some to revive a flagging doubles division on both major brands.

World Tag-Team Champions: The Vision (Bron Breakker & Austin Theory)

Since: 6 July, 2026.

Defeated: The Street Profits.

Show: Raw.

Austin Theory was previously part of the tag champs alongside fellow Vision stablemate Logan Paul, but then Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins grabbed the straps on the 22 June edition of Raw. The Street Profits would only hold gold for a few short weeks though - they dropped them to Theory and Bron Breakker come 6 July.

The Vision is on life support as an ongoing concern every Monday though, and Austin's head has been turned by Maxxine Dupri, so this title reign might not last too long.

Intercontinental Champion: Chad Gable

Since: 2 August, 2026.

Defeated: Penta.

Show: SummerSlam.

Chad Gable finally realised a dream by besting fine Intercontinental Champion Penta at SummerSlam. Pyro shot off, cheers were loud, then WWE almost ruined everything by shilling root beer. Imagine someone asking classic IC Champs like Bret Hart, The Rock or Chris Jericho to do that?!

What a road to redemption this has been for the original El Grande Americano. His journey towards that gimmick began because he couldn't beat Penta, so this was very much Chad's very own "finish the story" moment.

United States Champion: Trick Williams

Since: 6 September, 2026.

Defeated: Baron Corbin.

Show: Sunday Night's Main Event.

Speaking of stars, it's Trick Willy.

There's no denying that Trick will go on to bigger and better things than the United States Title, but holding that belt for now is a solid spot for him. It looks like his rapper pal Lil Yachty will be sticking around as his would-be manager post-'Mania too.

Williams traded the belt with comeback king Baron Corbin between SummerSlam and Sunday Night's Main Event. Recent events on SmackDown suggest that feud simply must rumble on too.

Women's Intercontinental Champion: Raquel Rodriguez

Since: 27 July, 2026.

Defeated: Sol Ruca.

Show: Raw.

Sol Ruca's run as Women's Intercontinental Champ was a bit of a damp squib. The 57-day reign began with a bang at Clash In Italy when she defeated the legendary Becky Lynch, but WWE didn't seem to really know what to do with Sol after that, and she's since been upended by Judgment Day member Raquel Rodriguez.

For Rodriguez, this win represents the culmination of years waiting to take her turn with a singles title. Let's see where it takes her.

Women's United States Champion: Jacy Jayne

Since: 14 August, 2026.

Defeated: Tiffany Stratton.

Show: SmackDown.

Lord only knows where ex-champ Tiffany Stratton goes from here. She might need a heel turn to get back on track, because this babyface stuff hasn't exactly been clicking for Tiffy. Jacy Jayne won't care one bit about that - she joined her stablemates in the championship cabinet by winning the Women's United States prize from Stratton in mid-August.

Something just feels right about seeing gold around the former NXT Women's Champ's waist. Jayne was born to do this sort of thing, and rub success in the faces of fans.

Women's Tag-Team Champions: Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid

Since: 18 July, 2026.

Defeated: Brie Bella & Page.

Show: Saturday Night's Main Event.

Brie Bella and Paige soared to the Women's Tag-Team Titles at WrestleMania 42, but then they sucked the life out of buildings with lacklustre in-ring promos on TV afterwards. By comparison, Fatal Influence seemed so vibrant and lively next to the tired veterans, so it was only ever a matter of time until they scored gold.

Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid were given the nod by Triple H at SNME in July. They'll surely hold those titles for a while as WWE bosses try to figure out what to do with the often-maligned straps heading into 2027.

NXT Champion: Grayson Waller

Since: 30 August, 2026.

Defeated: Tony D'Angelo, Zilla Fatu, Cruz Montana.

Show: NXT: Heatwave.

Grayson Waller has been going shoot, shoot, shoot style on everyone within earshot since reviving his career on the developmental brand NXT. He bagged the show's top title by beating ex-champ Tony D'Angelo, Zilla Fatu and Cruz Montana in a Fatal-4-Way at Heatwave in late-August.

Shawn Michaels knows precisely what he's doing by sticking the belt on Grayson. At least NXT is guaranteed some smartly-worded promos.

NXT Women's Champion: Kelani Jordan

Since: 30 August, 2026.

Defeated: Kendal Grey.

Show: NXT: Heatwave.

Kendal Grey, like Lola Vice before her, may well be side-eying HBK and wondering why the hell he even bothered to give her a stint as NXT Women's Champion in the first place. Grey's 2-month reign was flat and largely pointless, but hopes are high that new incumbent Kelani Jordan will enjoy a fruitful stay on top.

She beat Kendal at a busy Heatwave to win the belt. This neat ascension followed Jordan's prior reign as NXT Women's North American titleholder.

NXT North American Champion: Jackson Drake

Since: 30 August, 2026.

Defeated: Myles Borne.

Show: NXT: Heatwave.

The Vanity Project enjoyed a ton of success at Heatwave. Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes regained the NXT Tag-Team Titles, and their stablemate Jackson Drake offed young Randy Orton clone Myles Borne to win the North American Title.

Shawn Michaels is all in on some Vanity. He must remember all of those heel entrances from the early-90s then. Y'know the ones. Heart-shaped mirrors, those chaps and all of the other props.

NXT Women's North American Champion: Zaria

Since: 9 June, 2026.

Defeated: Tatum Paxley.

Show: NXT.

Zaria's split from Sol Ruca readied the latter for main roster stardom. Anyone wondering what might become of Zaria as a heel got their answer on an early-June edition of NXT programming. On the 9 June episode, she beat Tatum Paxley to become the brand new NXT Women's North American Champion.

This is a good spot for Zaria to be in, but she'll be looking up the way towards Raw and SmackDown herself. There's no reason why she couldn't make a splash on the bigger shows eventually. Bide your time, Zaria. Maybe don't jettison any further friends though!

NXT Tag-Team Titles: The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes)

Since: 30 August, 2026.

Defeated: Myles Borne & Tavion Heights.

Show: NXT: Heatwave.

The Vanity Project has blue chip goodness aplenty. These clean cut workers beat Myles Borne and Tavion Heights at Heatwave. Their win came on the same edition that housed Myles Borne's North American Title loss to Jackson Drake, so this was a busy show for Shawn Michaels and company.

Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes should enjoy a lengthy reign this time, but we'll see if they're a flash in the pan or have serious breakout potential.

WWE Men's Crown Jewel Champion: Seth Rollins

Since: 11 October, 2025.

Defeated: Cody Rhodes.

Show: Crown Jewel.

There were skeptical glances aplenty when Triple H unveiled the new Crown Jewel Championships on TV ahead of WWE's trip to Saudi Arabia in November 2024. Dual 'Champion vs. Champion' bouts were set up. Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER was one of them, and it was Cody who took the freakishly large Crown Jewel belt on the night. Then, he left the title in Saudi.

Come 2025, WWE moved the PLE to Perth, Australia and had Seth supplant Cody as men's Crown Jewel champion. Again, they barely mentioned it once Perth was in the rear view mirror.

WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion: Stephanie Vaquer

Since: 11 October, 2025.

Defeated: Tiffany Stratton.

Show: Crown Jewel.

Similarly, there isn't much to write home about when it comes to the Women's Crown Jewel Title. Then-Women's World Champion Liv Morgan won it by beating then-Women's Champ Nia Jax in Saudi in 2024. She posed inside the ring with Cody Rhodes and Triple H before leaving the gigantic belt backstage for somebody else to cart about.

A year or so later, Crown Jewel 2025 took place in Australia and Liv was nowhere to be found. She'd been injured since June, to be fair, so rising favourite Stephanie Vaquer beat Tiffany Stratton to wear the freakishly large title for a few minutes.

WWE Evolve Champion: Harlem Lewis

Since: 15 July, 2026.

Defeated: Aaron Rourke.

Show: Evolve.

Harlem Lewis technically won the Evolve Title on 19 June, but WWE only recognises his reign as beginning when the episode aired on 15 July. So, Lewis had to wait a month or so to see his win in front of the cameras. He surely spent that time basking in the glory and continuing to work hard at the Performance Center.

This win over Aaron Rourke will only have made Harlem hungry for more. He can look at original WWE Evolve Champ Jackson Drake's NXT North American Title win as proof there's a pathway.

WWE Evolve Women's Champion: Nikkita Lyons

Since: 24 June, 2026.

Defeated: Wendy Choo.

Show: Evolve: Succession III.

There's a general feeling that Nikkita Lyons is getting started all over again after various injuries made it a struggle for her to fulfil potential on NXT. It feels like the bloom is off the rose in terms of Lyons as a top prospect, but she'll be thrilled to hold some sort of gold after defeating Wendy Choo to win the Evolve Women's Title.

A belt's a belt, after all.

WWE ID Champion: Max Abrams

Since: 26 June, 2026.

Defeated: Chazz 'Starboy' Hall.

Show: Nightmare Factory: ID Showcase.

WWE established both ID Titles in February 2025 as part of a recruitment drive aimed squarely at keeping tabs on the best the independent scene has to offer. In a neat touch, Triple H said that any workers who win each championship but aren't already signed to an ID contract will be brought onboard and offered terms.

That's quite the dangling carrot for young workers on the indy circuit. Cappuccino Jones became the first male ID Champ on a Game Changer Wrestling-promoted showcase event in early August right before SummerSlam, but he lost it to 'Starboy' Hall above on a Beyond Wrestling card in March 2026.

Since then, Hall has dropped the strap to Max Abrams.

WWE Women's ID Champion: Laynie Luck

Since: 17 November, 2025.

Defeated: Notorious Mimi, Brittnie Brooks, Shannon Levangie, Airica Demia and Tiara James.

Show: Wrestling Open RI.

Former AEW, TNA and NWA star Kylie Rae became the first female ID Champ, but then vacated the belt due to maternity leave on 22 September. That later led to Laynie Luck winning the title in a 6-woman elimination match on an independent show in mid-Novmeber.

Luck looked overwhelmed when posing with the title and some other WWE ID props. Good on her.
