Every Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
2. Moana
Moana is a triumph. It's mythic in story, it's stunning in presentation, it's genuine in its message, it's diverse in its cast, it's smart, strong and daring in ways most Disney Princess films hadn't dared be previously. From the look to the script to the songs to the gags to the casting, virtually every single thing about it works perfectly.
Surprisingly for a man who made his name in a wrestling product that, like it or not, is largely marketed at children, this is Johnson's only real stab at that market. He does fun for the whole family better than anyone, but in a very child-centric marketplace this was effectively his first solid attempt. He's by no means the best thing about it (voice actors very rarely are) but all things considered he knocked it out of the park.
