Every Major WWE Black Wednesday Release Ranked From Least To Most Successful

5. Taynara Conti

Kenny Omega Good Brothers
AEW

It's incredible, really, how far Tay(nara) Conti has come since being let go. Granted, it feels as if we can say that for a good chunk of the names on this list because, well, it's already been said earlier in the article.

For the Brazilian, though, it's an entirely different story. She barely made it out of the Performance Center, having very few televised NXT matches that included a random stint as an associate of The Undisputed Era.

Now signed down to All Elite Wrestling, Conti has come on so far in the ring. Her work is crisper, cleaner, and, most importantly, she comes across as a legitimate threat to the rest of the AEW women's division. Her TCO finisher, where she drills her knee into an opponent's head from a Gory Special position, is brutal.

Conti is essentially an honorary member of The Dark Order these days, having been partnered with Anna Jay from the moment she arrived in AEW. An unsuccessful challenge at Serena Deeb's NWA World Women's Championship has been balanced out with impressive wins over The Bunny and Nyla Rose.

She now stands as the number one ranked name to challenge for Hikaru Shida's AEW Women's World Championship on the next Dynamite. If you had said that sentence this time last year, you'd be laughed at.
