Every Major WWE Black Wednesday Release Ranked From Least To Most Successful
8. Rusev
Rusev post-WWE is a bit of an odd one.
The former 'Bulgarian Brute' popped up on the post-All Out edition of AEW Dynamite as Kip Sabian's best man, forging an alliance that was, unfortunately, not up to par with what it could have been.
Pairing together one of the most charismatic names WWE ever had under contract with one of British wrestling's flourishing athletes was surely a recipe for success. Instead, we received a seemingly never-ending rivalry between the duo and Best Friends that revolved entirely around Sabian and Penelope Ford's wedding being interrupted by Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor.
On this week's Dynamite, however, Miro finally told 'Superbad' that he was moving on from the whole situation with or without Kip by his side. It's about time. Miro is going to succeed immensely as a top guy in AEW's upper-midcard, and just may be the man to dethrone Darby Allin of the TNT Championship.
There's still so much potential for Miro in the Tony Khan-helmed promotion. We all know just how good the man is. It's merely a case of booking him against the right opponents. Hell, even put him against Kip. There's bound to be a solid match there.
