Result: Jericho and Owens score the win after hitting a Pop-Up Code Breaker on Enzo (12:08).

Rating: Nothing here quite topped Big Cass singing Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" pre-match, but it was a solid PPV opener to kick things off. Jericho got a really nice interception on Enzo when he tried to tag out and basically proved throughout why he's still such a valued commodity despite being so far past his prime.

It's hard to deny that Enzo and Cass losing in their hometown, in the first match of the main show no less, definitely felt a bit strange, but at least it was a credible victory. Still, some heel shenanigans would've made it sting a little less for the New York crowd.
