The stage was set: 'The King of Strong Style’ Vs. 'The Samoan Submission Machine’, WWE’s biggest dream match in a long time. Unfortunately, this one didn’t quite live up to the hype, but it was no fault of the competitors, they rarely ever live up to fans expectations, it’s almost impossible in fact. Was it even the best match on the card? No, hence its low placing on the list.

But these two gave it their absolute all. The match felt epic as the two exchanged blistering chops, knees and strikes, it was hard-hitting wrestling at its finest. Nakamura and Joe proved countless times throughout their almost never-ending saga that they had great chemistry and never fail to put on a fine match. The match delivered a series of outstanding sequences, especially the ending one. With the pair exchanging a series of suplexes and signatures moves, before an electrifying Kinsasha that legitimately broke Joe’s jaw sent the crowd to its fit as Nakamura lifted the NXT Title.

While yes, at times, the match was slow and slightly choreographed, there is no denying that the sheer grandeur of the affair carried the bout to be the best of the pair’s Takeover tussles.
