Every Original WWE NXT Black & Gold Roster Member - Where Are They Now?

1. Bo Dallas

What was he doing at the time?

More "Sh* Cowboy" than "Cowboy Sh*t", Bo Dallas had one glove a-la all your Mid-South faves, but a Hangman Page-level threat he was not.

Entering the family business as son of WWE producer Mike Rotunda, Bo had gained mild acclaim from gaining a Royal Rumble cameo back when developmental wrestlers didn't really get that, and he was being groomed for a top spot in NXT to go with it. The babyface he portrayed in these early days categorically wasn't going to be his ticket to the top, but both performer and promotion realising that and pivoting eventually made Bo-leivers out of even the biggest cynics.

What is he doing now?

Released from WWE for the first time in April 2021 after 13 years in the system, Dallas rarely felt like the right man in the right place at the time on the main roster. That changed dramatically in 2022 when he assumed the role of Uncle Howdy alongside a rehired Bray Wyatt, but his late brother's tragic passing understandably put that on pause. A Wyatt Sicks tribute led by Dallas' Howdy persona was a better idea in theory in practice - performers paying tribute to Wyatt's immense legacy was extremely worthy, but their booking veered between off-piste and non-committal, and they were eventually released in 2026
