6. Goldberg (Super Showdown 2020)

At this point, The Fiend had bagged feuds with Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan, on some impressive stages, and with belts on the line. Both of those challengers failed to win the long game. Bray Wyatt's monster could now add 'unstoppable' to his resume.

Next in line, for a one shot deal, was a Saudi Arabia-based bout with Goldberg. Just in case the world needed clarification on the relevance and dominance of The Fiend, he'd now swat aside one of wrestling's most meanest and fiercest legends...

*Record Scratches...*

Minutes later, there was a new Universal Champion. Umpteen spears and a jackhammer into this match, and Bill got the three count. In a growly sulk, Fiend magic'd himself away, and so went his well earned momentum with him.

At least in the long term, the universal title circled possession back into a gripping Fiend-oriented story which is set to explode this Sunday, but at the time, this was merely a cheap way to undermine a good character. Nobody asked for it.

It played more like a squash match than anything else. The Fiend? Squashed? It beggars belief.
