Every The Fiend WWE Pay Per View Match Ranked Worst To Best
1. Finn Bálor (Summerslam 2019)
There was something special about this first pay per view appearance that may never be replicated.
Despite making a brief appearance on Raw to Sister Abigail the pants off Finn Bálor, SummerSlam 2019 was when The Fiend was truly born in his entire disconcerting glory. The entrance alone was a thing to behold.
However, the match quickly recommissioned a dimension absent from this performer's repertoire for a hell of a long time: His in-ring work. Bray Wyatt's a superb wrestler, one hell of a bumper, and a master of working the crowd. All of it was on display here, and arguably tighter than it had ever been previous. His newly unveiled gimmick delivered on the long-running hype of his Firefly Funhouse videos, and the tribulations with the Eater of Worlds/Wyatt Family were instantly forgiven. Bray Wyatt was saved, the payoff was worth it, and he had mostly himself to thank for it.
His reintroduction to the world of wrestling at SummerSlam quickly won itself a ‘that was awesome’ chant from the crowd. Poor Finn didn’t know what hit him. It was pure gold.
