EVERY Wrestler AEW Has Ever Released - Where Are They Now?

5. Ivelisse

Puerto Rican Ivelisse began wrestling at 15, going on to appear in Puerto promotions like World Wrestling Council and then transitioning to the US, where she appeared in the fifth season of WWE's Tough Enough. After being eliminated from the show, she took a contract, for the first iteration of NXT, but it was less than a year before she was released and entered the independent circuit.

After making her name with Lucha Underground and Shine, Ivelisse was a hot pick for AEW, and she debuted in the Women's Casino Battle Royal at the 2019 All Out. After less than a year and a half with the promotion, however, she was released following a much-rumoured and laterally confirmed backstage heat with fellow wrestler Thunder Rosa.

Since leaving AEW, Ivelisse has remained active, enjoying runs with Shine, CMLL and others. While she continues to be a presence in the wrestling world, the bridges she burned with WWE and AEW make it unlikely we will see her in any of the biggest promotions again.
