Every Wrestler At AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 - Where Are They Now?

14. Kylie Rae

The tale of Kylie Rae in AEW is an interesting one.

Her "Smiley" gimmick set her up as one of the company's top female babyfaces and she impressed during the Fatal 4-Way at Double or Nothing. However, this would be the pinnacle of her time with AEW.

Rae was supposed to take on Leva Bates at Fyter Fest, but was replaced last minute by Allie. No explanation was given, until the media scrum at All Out, when Tony Khan himself confirmed that Rae had been let go.

This was somewhat concerning - the company was only a few months old and was already losing stars. Rumours were abundant on why she decided to leave, but, thankfully, nothing was as malicious as it first seemed.

Rae confirmed on Instagram that it was her personal decision to leave the company. The post outlined Rae's desire to get back in touch with herself and it seems like this was the right choice for her at this time.

She has seemingly overcome her personal issues and now plies her trade in Impact. Hopefully she can return to AEW one day and give fans more than just one match to judge her by.
