Every Wrestler At AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 - Where Are They Now?
13. Nyla Rose
Nyla Rose was probably quite annoyed when Awesome Kong turned up at Double or Nothing I, because up until that point, she was positioned as the dominant force in AEW's women's division.
The Native Beast showed off her freakish strength and agility during this match, going toe-to-toe with Kong in a mouth-watering tease.
Whilst that match never happened, AEW bosses were clearly keen on Nyla, as they booked her to win the Casino Battle Royale at All Out, guaranteeing her a chance to become the first ever AEW Women's World Champion.
She didn't win that match, but Rose was still pushed as a huge threat and, on the 12th February episode of Dynamite, she finally captured the gold.
Despite many claiming she was too green in the ring or too early into her career, there's no denying that Rose has been a great champion. She cuts such an imposing figure in the ring and has the sort of size and power that few can match.
One year on from AEW's debut show and Nyla Rose is still the Women's Champion, set to defend her title against Hikaru Shida in what should be an excellent No Disqualification match.
Nyla has done very well for herself indeed.
