Every Wrestler At AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 - Where Are They Now?

12. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.

It was clear from the start that Dr. Britt Baker (D.M.D.) was meant to be the golden girl of AEW.

The dentist was positioned as the division's top star, but it was apparent very early on that this wasn't working out. Baker as a babyface came off as bland, despite scoring numerous big wins, including in this match where she pinned Kylie Rae.

Her downward trajectory continued into Fight For The Fallen, where she infamously tried to tag in the wrong person (this was due to a concussion, but few people realised this at the time). She would then transition into a feud with Bea Priestly, which, despite having all the components of a great rivalry, fell totally flat.

After months of floundering, Baker finally struck a chord with the AEW audience when she turned heel on the Chris Jericho Cruise episode of Dynamite. This started a run of great segments with Baker; her desire to become a role model, her vicious assaults on the teeth of her opponent, and her brilliant "frenemy" relationship with commentator, Tony Schiavone.

Despite not fulfilling her original brief, Britt Baker has finally found her place in AEW. Sadly, it looks like a serious knee injury suffered days before Double or Nothing II could keep her on the sidelines for some time.
