'Ladies and gentlemen, we are now pulling into Hardcore Country station. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you, and please mind the gap when alighting from this train'. TNA would've received hefty bonus points had they aired that kind of message back in 2015. Or maybe not. They were going for an altogether more serious tone with the Mickie James and James Storm train tracks business.

On the 3 June episode of Impact, Storm shoved Mickie in front of an oncoming train. The promotion aired grainy CCTV footage of the incident, which was penned to write James off TNA TV. Typically, she was back on the show around one month later, and announcers claimed that she'd actually suffered a concussion instead of dying.

Yes, yes that is so latter day WCW it hurts. Even Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara didn't have wrestlers suffer concussions after being hit by the overnight sleeper than was steamrolling past. Mickie returned to Impact like nothing had ever really happened to her, and everybody just sort of moved on. The train saga was forgotten until it came back up during a James Storm interview years later.

There, he told Chris Van Vliet that cops actually came to his house to ask about the incident because they'd had reports flooding in. It turns out that this was a prank played on a rookie police officer by Storm's brother (who was in the force). Thank God for that. Imagine people had phoned in to report a murder after watching Impact?!

Hey, at least they'd be watching.
