Rob Van Dam will always be a big "what-if" when it comes to his time in WWE. The former head honcho in ECW always had a great connection with the crowd thanks to his high-flying offense, but disagreements with management about the direction of his character would ultimately doom him to a glass ceiling.

Still, in 2006, he was briefly allowed to break it. With ECW coming back as a third brand, Van Dam was pegged to lead it. He won the MiTB contract at WrestleMania 22, and announced his cash-in on then-champion John Cena at One Night Stand 2006: the launch of the new ECW. In front of one of the hottest and most one-sided crowds in history, Van Dam scored a monumental upset victory over Cena (with the help of Edge), and brought the flagship title in WWE to ECW. Paul Heyman then rewarded Van Dam with the revived ECW title on the brand's first episode, making RVD a dual-champion.

And then Mary Jane happened, and it was all downhill from there. Just weeks into his run, RVD was forced to drop his titles to Edge and Big Show before serving out a suspension. While he'll always have the memories of his One Night Stand victory, it's the only bright spot of his reign.
