Every WWE Clash Of Champions Match Ranked From Worst To Best
5. The Revival Vs. The New Day (2019)
The Revival and The New Day had underrated matches in the latter half of 2019, with their ladder match from TLC being excellent as well. This was the best match that the two teams had together, propelled by genuinely brutal offence towards Xavier Woods' legs.
Woods proved at events like Battleground 2017 that he's secretly one of the best sellers in modern professional wrestling, and his emotional performance here added a spark to this match that helps it stand out even after The Revival's releases from the company.
Wilder and Dawson are brilliant at manipulating elements of the body to cause maximum suffering, and it's a shame that they'll likely not be working with Xavier Woods again for the foreseeable future as he was a perfect babyface for them to torture.
While the match was exciting outside of the sadism inflicted upon the most underrated New Day member, the submissions were the most invigorating aspect and finally established The Revival as a lethal duo on the main roster after months of indifference. A remarkably good tag team match that’s worthy of being held up as one of The Revival’s best in WWE.
