Often sharing a locker room with in-their-prime Ricochet, Jay Lethal and The Young Bucks, it's a miracle that Cedric Alexander was able to stay relevant, and he managed to do so without tasting a slither of major gold. Instead, frequent appearances beyond 3-star territory on Dave Meltzer's ratings system subsidised his lack of championship glory before WWE came calling in 2016.
What is he doing now?
Forced by the fans into being signed to a permanent WWE deal following his loss to Kota Ibushi, Cedric plodded on until being axed in February 2025, with a stint as Cruiserweight Champion and association with The Hurt Business being the leading highlights of his 9-year stay.
Presently, he's playing a similar role in TNA as the uber-athletic member of The System, which bolstered his career CV with his ongoing reign as X Division Champion, as controversial as its beginnings were; he dethroned Leon Slater one day before Slater would have demolished Austin Aries' longstanding, longest-reigning record.
