Every WWE Cruiserweight Classic Wrestler - Where Are They Now?

24. Raul Mendoza

Tournament result: Defeated in the first round by The Brian Kendrick.

What was he doing at the time?

Struggling to find his identity, it would seem. Before settling on using his real name for the Cruiserweight Classic, Raul Mendoza wrestled under the slightly altered moniker of Ronnie Mendoza, as well as the aliases of Jinzo and Tribal, with no character of his clicking with an audience. That, perhaps, explains his career-long lack of championships and exclusivity to lower-class Mexican indies, bar a 2014 excursion to Pro Wrestling NOAH.

What is he doing now?

Jobs, and lots of them. Renamed to Cruz Del Toro in April 2022, he hadn't won a televised match since the 21 July 2025 episode of Raw until a recent Main Event outing, if that even counts as televised anymore. That win was, at least, a World Tag-Team Titles contendership bout that resulted in Cruz and LWO partner Joaquin Wilde challenging Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh in a fun, if instantly-forgotten, TV match, but it was also almost a full year ago. He should count himself lucky to have avoided the company's most recent round of releases, as brutal as it may be to say.
